Sarah Khalifa, a 39-year-old Egyptian presenter known for hosting the crime-focused program Mission Impossible, has been sentenced to death by hanging alongside 11 other defendants. The ruling follows a massive narcotics investigation that stunned viewers and media circles across the region.
